About Me

Hi! I’m a teacher, a communicator, and a connector. If we were meeting in person, I would have a coffee cup in my hand, and I would be gushing about how incredible you are, and would be working to find a way to see how we could connect. Then I would ask you about your dreams. Then I would do my level best not to try and connect you to every person I know that could help you make that possible. In the fall of 1999, I walked into an Intro to Management class, and walked out with a clear picture of the rest of my life. I was supposed to build bridges. My life would be dedicated to helping people get to where they want to go or have the life they want. I completed my Bachelor’s degree, and went on to get a Master’s in Communication. I have spent a decade as a professor helping students learn to become better communicators and better people. I teach business, leadership and communication skills. I speak and write, primarily for nonprofit organizations. I am a proud wife and mom, and I have a slight obsession with  coffee shops and college basketball. My hope is that through this site, you can more clearly find the bridge to where you’re going.
